Do you want to bring a bit of the functionality found in Windows 7 to your Windows XP operating system? Well, you can with the Tropical Wares-developed application WallMaster. As you may already know, in Windows 7 you can set it up so that the wallpaper will change after a specific amount of time – a few minutes, a few hours, once a day, every time you boot up the computer and so on.

The same sort of functionality can be achieved in Windows XP with the WallMaster application. With the application you can take any images you have on your computer and use them as your wallpaper. The application allows you to customize the wallpaper’s position and it allows you to set the interval at which the wallpaper will change. For example you can set up WallMaster to change the desktop wallpaper every 10 minutes.

If you want to view a different wallpaper each time you boot up your PC, you can easily do so with WallMaster. If you want the wallpaper to change every few minutes, you can also do so with WallMaster. If you want to focus on the wallpaper alone, WallMaster is there for you – it will hide your desktop icons so you can focus on the wallpaper.

I have saved the best part for last: WallMaster is freeware. You can use the application on your Windows XP-powered PC for as long as you want without having to pay a dime. To my mind freeware application are the best. But if you feel like your money is burning a hole in your pocket and you have to spend it on something, then you should know there is a WallMaster Pro version which offers even more functionality than the freeware version of WallMaster.
